The year is going by fast. It feels as if it was just yesterday that I was wishing people Happy New Year!
It’s easy to get caught up with all of the craziness of life, but it is important to remember that you’re just one person. One lesson I’ve learned so far is that you have to go at your own pace. It’s easy to get overwhelmed by what you think you should be doing. I started off 2019 with a long To Do List. I focused on my art first, but now my writing goals have to take precedence or they’ll be forgotten in all of my painting madness.
For this new month, I say just be you. Everything that needs to get done will get done at its own pace.
April showers brought May flowers, and we should all take time to enjoy their beauty.
Oh, and May 4th is Free Comic Book Day! A love of reading can come in many different ways. Archie comics definitely served as fun, leisure reading when I was a kid. So stop into your local comic book store on Saturday, and see what treats they have to offer.
Happy reading!
